Welcome to Deja Blu, Island House #4.


This 2-bedroom tropical villa has been completely redecorated from top to bottom with beautiful finishes and decor. New ceiling fans enhance the tropical breezes while the air conditioning keeps things cool on warmer days in both the bedrooms and living areas. 


The atrium, living, dining, and kitchen areas are on the first floor along with a powder room and the laundry room. A sunset-facing study with a desk and sofa provides a perfect spot for remote work, reading books, or relaxing. 


The living and dining areas open onto a spacious, fully-screened, 2-story atrium with vaulted ceilings. Enjoy a tropical breakfast or cocktail hour without pesky bugs. 


Upstairs, you’ll find two bedroom suites, each with a private balcony and ensuite bathroom. The balconies overlook the screened atrium providing elevated views of the waterfront.

  • Primary Suite: upper level, king bed, waterfront views, television, private balcony, A/C with remote, ceiling fan, ensuite with shower.

The owner includes 2 bikes and 3 kayaks, a single and two tandems, to use during your stay (signed waiver required).


The Island Houses are a small cluster of townhomes encircling a shared pool at the end of Cayman Kai Cove; directly across from the Rum Point Club Beach. Perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, the cove is home to Cayman’s Bioluminescence Bay. Experience the beautiful glowing waters on moonless nights.


The big draw to this neighborhood is its proximity to the restaurants and water sports at Rum Point Beach. Guests can easily stroll across the street for a barefoot beach experience with snorkeling and shaded hammocks. The new Rum Point Resort (with bar & restaurant) is also only a short walk.


Finally, a short bike ride south on Water Cay Road is where you’ll find the Kaibo, a luxe beach dining destination, and marina. The Kaibo serves lunch and dinner along with a coffee bar for lattes and breakfast items. 


Ferry service departs daily from the marina across the North Sound to Camana Bay, an up-scale, outdoor mall with boutique shops, restaurants, and a cinema—perfect for day trips! 


Just beyond the marina is Starfish Point, a secluded beach spot with crystal clear shallow water teeming with starfish. Pack a picnic and head to the point for sunset views that will leave you breathless.

Great Location!

Deja Blu and Rum Point did not disappoint. The beach in the front and the bay in the back made for amazing views and super easy to enjoy both. I have relatives who have stayed at Rum Point 3 times. When she told me the beach was just across the road, I was thinking a busy 2 lane road. It was actually a quiet small 2 lane road with hardly any traffic. It was an easy minute walk to a beautiful beach. I loved that there were available chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We didn\'t have to worry about lugging anything to the beach and certainly didn\'t have to rent. The condo itself was updated and clean. We ate every meal on the lanai overlooking the bay. The only thing I would change is to have a couple more restaurant options closer by but the east end was about a 20 minute drive with several eating options. It was a very quiet and peaceful vacation!

Incredible!!

The host could not have been any more accommodating. The property had everything we needed and felt incredibly homely! We walked across to Rum Point to watch the sunset and went into the Kayaks at night and saw the amazing bioluminescence. It was a beautiful, peaceful stay and I would highly recommend! We stayed with my parents and our 3 & 7 year old girls.

Great Island Home to Rent AC is AWSOME!

This is our second time staying at Rum Point Island Houses and third time on the island we would stay here again in a heart beat. The home was decorated beautifully and the AC was kick ass. We like it cold at 68 and that\'s what it was the owner did not attempt to turn it down from wi-fi access which happened last time we rented house #12. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows also plent of towles and beach towles also. The bikes and kayaks were a big plus for us to ride to starfish beach and float the bio-bay. My bike pedal broke at Kiabo Restaurant so I rode the other bike to the house and went back to pick up hubby. I told the owner that was at his house next door and he even gave me one of their bike to use till he fixed the pedal. He made sure I was ok and did not get hurt along with apologizing for the break. He was so nice and knowledgeable about the area and things to do and was always checking on us to make sure everything was to our liking. He was not overbearing at all. The kitchen had some spices and sugar and everything you would need to cook. Their was plenty of toilet paper and Scott towels and even laundry detergent as hubby like to do his dirty clothes the night before we leave. Their was also life jackets, fins and goggles to use for snorkeling. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a cooler for beach use and a few outdoor chairs to use as we are smokers and had no where to sit outside while smoking. Beside that this house is very clean and pretty and I would definitely rent again no ?\'s asked. I am a neat freak but could not find a dirty thing in the home. I like to walk around barefoot or in socks and my feet were clean when doing so. I have been in rented homes before where your feet and socks were so dirty after walking in the home. Please take it from me on how nice this property is and rent it. Snorkel to the right side of the dock looking out to the sea their are 3 turtles and a stingray that hang out there. So much fun!

These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay. 

Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports. 

While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed 

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. 

Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses. 

Nearby Beaches

The Rum Point Club is the area's big draw and easily one of the best beachfront destinations outside of Seven Mile Beach. In addition to a barefoot beach experience, you'll find food + drinks, excellent snorkeling, watersports rentals, and charter excursions for a true island experience. 

For a more remote beach vibe, head south to Starfish Point. The sunsets there are phenomenal. However, please be mindful not to disturb the starfish or leave any litter behind.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum is required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire about your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays are available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Cayman Kai is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The area is perfectly suited for those who want to escape the crowds for a destination where life is easy and not so fast. 

The neighborhood has very low traffic by design. The streets are safe and ideal for strolling the neighborhood while enjoying the tropical scenery.

Getting Around

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. 

For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls. Confirmed guests will receive a promo code after booking for 20% off a rental car with Budget Cayman. 

Nearby Dining

There are three dining destinations within walking distance: Solis at Rum Point Club, Blue Flame at Rum Point Resort, and the Kaibo.

Located a short walk across the street, Solis is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a casual open-air beachfront setting. Confirmed guests save 10% off food + drinks with their Guest Membership card distributed at check-in in our Welcome Center.

The Rum Point Resort's newly re-opened signature restaurant Blue Flame is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations for non-resort guests are highly encouraged.  

A little further south you'll find two distinct dining experiences at Kaibo: the Beach Bar & Grill for casual dining, and Upstairs for gourmet dining.  

Beach Bar & Grill guests can dine on the beach, or order takeout including pizzas, burgers, and more. Reservations for Upstairs are encouraged for a night of culinary excellence. The Kaibo also includes a cafe, Kaibo Espresso, to jumpstart your day with coffee, tea, plus pastries and breakfast wraps.
