Quiet, Relaxing Beachfront Spot
by LindsayWe are already planning our next trip back! Harriet’s oasis is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing beachfront spot. You truly feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house had everything we needed to relax, and the beach itself was just stunning. Tia, her property manager was exceptional and made us feel so cared for throughout our time there! Cannot wait to bring family
Immaculate!
by GabrielaThis place was beautiful! We loved #3 with the amazing enclosed porch and direct views of the water. The place was IMMACULATE and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel right at home. Lovely spot - we will be recommending to friends!
Even Better Than the Pictures!
by BayleeThis place was even better in person than it was in the pictures! Tia gave us the warmest welcome and Harriet was very responsive, we are thankful for the kindness and hospitality they showed us on our trip. We instantly felt comfortable, very safe, and right at home. Our cottage was immaculate in every way and had everything we needed! Tia was around and checked on us every few days. There are three cottages on the property and a house in the back, but our interactions with the neighbors were peaceful and we hardly saw them during our stay. The private beach was one of our favorite places to lounge. We loved exploring rum point (20 mins) seven mile beach (35 mins) and we enjoyed restaurants like tukka, peppers, and saltwater grill. Overall the island felt very safe and accessible with a rental car. Would recommend Fosters for groceries, it is cheaper and bigger than Hurley’s. Captain Marvin’s and fat fish adventures were phenomenal for excursions. So happy with our stay!
Truly a Blessing
by PebblesStaying at Harriet's Cottage (we stayed in cottage 3), was truly a blessing and a much needed vacation for my husband and I. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. Harriet and Tia are both true gems. They both truly make you feel like you are part of their family there to visit. The beaches are amazing, the views are spectacular, the cottage has everything you need(and more!) We enjoyed being on the East End of the island and driving to other areas. We felt like we were able to experience Cayman life. We do hope to come back and bring the family to stay in the other cottages as well. Thank you Harriet and Tia for making us feel like family and for welcoming us into your beautiful peaceful paradise!
Perfect Piece of Paradise
by SandraThis was the perfect piece of paradise! So quiet and peaceful! Tia was lovely and welcoming. It was just what we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, bath and comfortable bed. We were so grateful we picked up our groceries before arriving so we didn’t need to leave. Thank you for hosting us for a relaxing visit!
Exceptional!
by YuriOur stay at Harriet's cottage was exceptional. The private beach, though a bit swampy and shallow, was compensated by the use of kayaks. These allowed easy access to the beautiful swimmable waters and fantastic reef snorkeling opportunities. Harriet and her assistant Tia provided a warm and welcoming environment. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. This location is highly recommended for a peaceful yet engaging getaway.
Better than 7 Mile!

Away From the Crowds
by TomWe loved staying at this cottage away from all the crowds. We barely noticed that there are a couple other cottages on the property. If felt like our own little piece of paradise.
An easy drive to the restaurants, beaches, shopping on the west end, we drove the whole island and saw everything in a few days. We absolutely loved waking up to such a peaceful surrounding and didn’t want to leave.
The cottage was comfortable, had everything we needed and then some and appreciated suggestions for where to spend our anniversary dinner. Grand old house has the best waterfront location ever and a very great place for dinner. We would definitely choose this place again!
Home Away From Home

2nd Time Here
by HeatherThis is our 2nd time here. Always super clean and tidy! 10 out of 10 ! The house has everything you might need or think of. We relaxed at the property most days and took the kayaks out into the water. Saw huge lobsters and many fish including a lion fish. We cooked in the kitchen most days and went out to a few of our fave places. This is one of my favorite Airbnbs to stay at. Truly relaxing and peaceful. A perfect place to unwind. The host is great with communication and helpful if u need anything. The groundskeeper Tia is also amazing!!! I can't wait to visit a 3rd time.
Amazing Villa
by Michael
Perfect Place to Unwind
by RandiPerfect place to unwind and escape for my beautiful bride and I. Life had been hectic and we needed someplace to just relax and enjoy life and each other. Cottages are amazing, just feet from the ocean. If you are looking for night life and all inclusive this is not the place for you. If you want easy access to a more laid back area of the island with peace and quiet this is the place. What Harriet has created is more than a place to sleep it’s an ambiance that resonated with us. Then on top of all that is the amazing, always pleasant Tia the wonder woman that is the caretaker of both the cottages and visitors. We will return!
Everything You Could Dream Of
by DeniseFantastic, quiet, peaceful, relaxing, beautiful! Our little house was very quaint and had everything you could dream of needing/wanting! I actually slept on the daybed on the porch so I could enjoy the delightful sounds of the ocean lapping on the beach all night long. The decorations and furnishings are perfect for Cayman in every way. The host Harriet and her assistant Tia are precious, friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional and we are very impressed! We had an awesome Christmas because of our stay at Piece of Mine!
Phenomenal
by CoreyThis place is phenomenal, highly recommend it if you wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowded resorts. The cottage was perfect, with full kitchen, covered and screened porch, essentially private beach complete with furnishings and options for water hobbies (kayaks, snorkels, etc).
My husband and I came down for a dive trip, using Ocean Frontiers (also highly recommend that dive operation). The cottage was an easy drive from them, plus an easy drive from many other places on the island including the airport.
Overall highly recommend, we’re looking at coming back next year!
Most Peaceful Week of Our Lives
by KristenIf you’re thinking of staying at Harriet’s place, book it! It is far more beautiful than any pictures can show. My boyfriend and I stayed here for our two year anniversary and it was the most peaceful week of our lives, we didn’t want to go back home! Not only is Harriet’s place beautiful, herself and the groundskeeper Tia offered the highest caliber of hospitality you could ever expect from a host. Do not miss out on this place!!!!
100% Will Stay Here Again
by Bennett
The beach was beautiful and though the weather wasn’t the best, I went out in the provided kayaks quite a few times and enjoyed the crystal clear ocean.
The bed was comfortable, the house had every amenity, the internet speed was great, and communicating was almost always immediate with tons of helpful information about the island.
Harriet and her helper Tia were amazing; so thoughtful, communicative, and attentive!
The house was a true haven, equipped with every possible comfort and amenity one could desire. The attention to detail, remarkable hospitality, and ideal location combined to create a truly perfect stay. I cannot recommend this property enough to anyone seeking a memorable getaway.
100% will stay here again, even if I have to plan travel dates around when it's available.
Comfortable & Relaxed
by AmyAbsolutely beautiful area, the unit was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need and lots of additional, thoughtful and useful things.
We stayed here a few nights and then moved to Seven Mile Beach for a few nights and it ended up being completely perfect for us, since the water/beach was less usable at the Airbnb.
Harriet and Tia were incredibly helpful, friendly and kept the grounds impeccable! We felt totally comfortable and relaxed the whole time we were there.
There was a lot of sargassum in the water and along the beach, which is obviously no fault of the property, so the kayaks were a great addition. We really enjoyed kayaking out to a sand bar and hanging out in the water.
Calm Atmosphere
by RebeccaHarriet’s piece of mine ended up giving us peace of mind. We loved the calm atmosphere, the well appointed kitchen and gear on site. We completely enjoyed our lovely property manager Miss Tia, who stayed late to check us in, orient us to the property and seemed to always be nearby to answer questions, she helped us with a bad tire on our rental car and even cracked open a coconut for us :). We would go back!
Calm & Relaxing
by JohnHarriet’s place is beautiful! It’s calm and relaxing and has everything you need! Tia, the cleaner and more is also very friendly and helpful! It’s about 20-30 minutes from 7 mile beach so I recommend a car, but worth the privacy and savings if that’s what your looking for. Would definitely recommend!
Tranquil Retreat
by JulieIf you are seeking a tranquil retreat with beautiful surroundings this is the spot. The peacefulness, sound of the waves hitting the reef in the distance, the incredible sunsets - are all fabulous. Piece of Mine is away from the hustle and bustle of George Town, yet everything is a short 20-30 minute drive away. Rum Point is close with many tours leaving from there to dive, snorkel, stingray city, kayaking tour of bioluminescent etc. There are also many great restaurants very close by - Czech Inn Grill is delicious!! Asian inspired ribs and chicken wings that fall off the bone! The Caboose has fabulous Key Lime Pie. The best meal we had was in Georgetown, Le Vele Restaurant! Be aware that it is not great swimming at the airbnb, very shallow and grassy - but if you kayak out you can swim and snorkel. There was great snorkeling at Smiths Barcadere, Spotts, the cemetery and colliers beach (follow the old dock past the grass). We also very much enjoyed the tour of the Crystal Caves.
Did Not Want To Leave!
by TaylorPiece of Mine is even better in person! You will not regret booking. Harriet and Tia are personable and so helpful. Harriet even brought us some fruit cake she made. The views are astonishing! I could sit on the beach and read for days. The house was spotless and clean. By far the cleanest hotel and airbnb I've stayed in. Harriet has everything you need for the beach. The beach chairs and cooler were nice and good quality. The house was only 30-40 mintues at most away from some tourist attractions. We loved the location. Usually at the end of a vacation you're ready to go home but I did not want to leave Harriet's place.
Absolute Best
by MicheleIf you don’t book this heavenly place, you’ll regret it forever. The reviews are beyond accurate, Piece of Mine is the absolute best. The views are gorgeous, the peace and quiet will restore your overworked soul, and the peaceful/beautiful beach is the best spot to recharge your batteries. The house was immaculate and had it the most incredible view every morning from the bedroom and screened in living room area. The grounds are lush and very well looked after. No hotel can compete with this or the gracious hospitality of Tia and Harriet. Thanks to both of them for the quick communication, we felt truly take care of. Piece of Mine and East End are absolute treasures. Best beach vacation my husband and I have ever had—truly relaxing, so much so we chose to stay on the property at the beach and only ventured out once! Needless to say, we’ll be back!! Just wow!
Pure Perfection

Perfect For Exploring Full Island
by JillOur stay at Piece of Mine #3 was perfect. We had 11 wonderful nights and the location was perfect for exploring all of the different spots on the island. The owner and hostess are excellent at making sure that guests want for nothing. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed is super comfortable, there are beach chairs, floats, a cooler, and so much more that came in handy for day trips to different beaches. Plenty of shade for relaxing out of the sun in the Tiki Hut. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the house is immaculate and nicely decorated. The view is magnificent- words just can’t describe it. The water is calm and perfect for swimming or kayaking - kayaks and snorkeling gear are provided. This place feels very private and quiet. We cannot wait to come back. We have stayed in several air bnbs and this was by far the best.
Enjoyed Every Minute
by JamaleeThis is a beautiful and amazing place to stay! We had the best time and enjoyed every minute of our time there!
Magnificient Place

Book It!
by Art
There’s no Netflix on the TV as of my stay, so if you wanna watch shows, use the WiFi and your own devices. But I wouldn’t hold that against the place. Plenty of hotels will have Netflix, you can stay there on a crowded beach if it’s really all that important to ya.
Point of note about the ecology of Grand Cayman:
west beach (aka 7 Mile Beach) is a dead coast, there’s virtually no marine life. It’s a great beach for sun tanning, nearby luxury shops, high end hotels all along the coast, but you’ll see no star fish, no beautiful conch shells, no coral, no sea grass.
East End has living shorelines, so there’s lots of sea grass, marine life, wild parrots ?, even loads of Chickens roaming around! Also lots of tidal activity. I dove out of a kayak and collected a conch shell from the seabed off the beach at Harriet’s place. Very shallow waters, actually.
North Point is the most alive! Starfish, turtles, sting rays, deep waters, sea grass, loads of fish, chickens everywhere, and the sunsets are phenomenal. Kaibo is a really nice area.
Final thought: rent a car, if you can. They book up quick! and there are public access points to beaches all along the main road, Boddentown RD—Seaview RD, not just at the ends of the island.

Quiet, Peaceful Vacation
by William
One of the Best Vacations
by JeremyStaying at Peace of Mine was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever experienced. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the beach, this is the place to do it!
Cottage #3 is awesome: A cottage with numerous amenities including an enormous, upgraded bathroom, super comfy bed, screened-in living room and a full kitchen with a stocked spice cabinet and anything you could need for cooking a quick meal. It’s impossible not to relax in a place literally steps away from the beach!
The grounds themselves are immaculate with plenty of hammocks and chairs, a grill, and a rocking swing. There are even kayaks available to use complete with snorkel gear and vests. It is truly spectacular, and Tia/Harriet go out of their way to be sure you are comfortable. They tried to think of everything, and it shows.
Staying here is also a treat being on the “quieter” side of the island, but you are only a 20 minute drive from Georgetown. The notes at the cottage mentioned the bus stops regularly, but we rented a car and loved the freedom to be more mobile.
We highly recommend Peace of Mine!
Great Place to Stay

Amazing Place and Quiet Location
by RinitAmazing place! Quiet location ! Great hospitality. Beach offers great view but seaweed is there a little bit. Every effort is made to keep the beach area clean though.
Overall a great experience in the east end!
Perfect Spot for Honeymoon

Truly Incredible
by KevinA truly incredible place. You must come here to understand how beautiful and relaxing a place for your get away! Superb view, thoughtful accommodation, special touches, fantastic service and away from all the crowds. May we be so lucky to return again one day!
Hesitant to Leave and Anxious to Return
by AshleyHarriet's "Piece of Mine" is a spectacular, one-of-a-kind gem on Grand Cayman. We stayed for a week at the end of March 2019 and the weather was perfect. Harriet and Tia greeted us upon our arrival and made sure the cottage was spotless and we were comfortable before settling in. The pictures of the property, although accurate, do not do justice in showing off the beauty of it all...located right on the beach with kayaks, snorkel gear, numerous cozy places to lounge, a BBQ grill, and your very own tiki hut! If you must stay plugged in, you can even access WiFi from the beach!
Harriet has added so many personal and thoughtful touches to this property that you'll find it difficult to leave. If you decide to venture away from the cottage, a car is a must; however, some of the best restaurants on the island are located just minutes away, in addition to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens and Crystal Caves. Once you stay at Piece of Mine, you will be hesitant to leave and anxious to return! Thank you Harriet for such a wonderful experience.
Amazing Week!
by JustinWOW! What an amazing week we had at “Piece of Mine”! We were not sure at first where to stay when we were first thinking of coming to Grand Cayman, but we are glad that we chose this location. Private & away from the hustle of 7 Mile Beach- we enjoyed the quiet and intimate location of Harriet’s villa. The property is beautiful and well maintained! We took full advantage of the private beach: by sun bathing, kayaking and snorkeling every day. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Grand Cayman and definitely recommend this location to other couples who are looking to get away and relax. Thank you again Harriet and Tia!
Sheer Delight

Perfect Get Away
by ElizabethA perfect get away! Right on the beach, beautifully clean, private...perfect peace...and wonderful amenities and special touches. We will be back as soon as we can make it work!
Just Perfect!
by MelissaThis place is just perfect! So beautiful and quiet. We loved the screened-in porch. Harriet was very responsive and she and Tia are just lovely, kind people that want nothing more than for you to have a special vacation. Skip the crowded West End and stay here on the East End at Harriet’s. Explore secluded beaches, eat at wonderful restaurants, and then come “home” to your own quiet piece of paradise. 🙂
Definitely Will Be Back
by PeteWe will definitely be back. Private, spotless, everything. I felt bad for people taking cruises and on the west side of the island. All so crowded. Cayman meant to be experienced with Harriet at POM. Her recos are spot on and the private beach, grill and kayaks get top marks.
Quiet & Beautiful Get Away
by RickIf you are looking for a quiet and beautiful get away, this location is a true gem! The distant sound of waves hitting the sandbar, along with amazing scenery will spoil you. The beach is a few steps away, where you can walk along the water, snorkel, or take the kayaks out to find starfish. Parrots would often eat the fruit in the trees on the property. The Villa was very clean, and well decorated. Plenty of sitting areas, a swing, and hammocks. Harriet is an amazing host. We plan to return back as soon as possible.
Beautiful Place
by DominicHarriet's "Piece of Mine" is a beautiful place. If you are looking for a tranquility and privacy tucked away from the rest of the world than this is the place for you. Gorgeous views and property with good amenities will let anyone unwind and enjoy their get away thoroughly.
Loved Our Time
by SarahHarriet was an amazing host! She went above and beyond for our honeymoon and the place was so cute! They had music playing and a little fountain going in the screened in porch. We loved our time here and would return any time we visit the Cayman Islands. Thank you again for providing us such a wonderful place!
Slice of Paradise
by JohnHarriet's place is the perfect slice of paradise. From the hidden orchid garden to the torch lit beach at sunset, you can feel how much love is poured into this property. Her hospitality alone is enough for me to recommend her to future vacationers. She was available anytime we needed her and offered the best advice for local food, entertainment, etc. Each house comes with their own full functioning kitchens and washer and dryers. The location sits right on the water and she has kayaks available as well as snorkel gear. My only advice is that East End is about 20 minutes away from George Town/ Seven Mile so having transportation planned is a good idea.
Oasis of Tranquility
by MarkPiece of Mine is an oasis of tranquility. You have a private villa on a serene, clear protected bay. It was full of conch, stars, rays, and other marine life. We napped in the hammocks under the palm cabana and Harriet has a list of delicious local restaurants to choose from. The property was spotless and perfectly maintained. This is the place to get away from the tourist side and actually relax. Don’t hesitate on this property!
Highly Recommend!
by CharleenHarriet's place was great!! Highly recommend. She supplied everything we needed and was quick to answer any questions we had. The place is very clean and well taken care of. Great AC, shower, comfortable bed, lots of towels and fully equipped kitchen. She had a lot of beach items as well such as beach towels, kayak, snorkel and a cooler. It was awesome. She's thought out all the details. The property is well maintained and the yard is cleaned often. The beach has some seaweed but if you take the kayak out it's great. Thanks Harriet for a wonderful stay 🙂
Peace & Serenity
by NaomiPiece of mine was a true vacation. The villa and property offered a place of peace & serenity that my husband and I really felt made our honeymoon special. The villa is comfortable with a relaxing screened in room, a super soft bed, cozy towels and robe, and luxurious shower. The property is just lovely with gardens, palms, loungers, a swing, and tiki torches in the evening. We also used the kayaks to explore & snorkel all the way out to the reef in the afternoons and relax in the protected waters & watch the gorgeous sunrise from the sea early morning.
Superb host and hospitality as well!
Exceptionally Located and Appointed

Definitely Be Back
by ElizabethPiece of Mine is a true gem!First, Harriet is an amazing host. She was quick in responses and always so helpful. Before I even booked the reservation, Harriet was always there for questions and help. Her hospitality and assistance continued throughout our entire stay. She is truly a lovely individual who exudes kindness and warmth. You know she is always there for you, but always gives you your privacy and is never intrusive. Second, Piece of Mine is beautiful. The small touches to the villa are amazing. She has thought of everything for you as a guest. The villa was incredibly clean and beautiful. The bed was super comfy, and the sheets and pillows so soft. The rainfall shower in the bathroom is amazing, as well as the fluffy towels! There is a washer and dryer available, and an iron as well. The kitchen is well equipped and beautifully done. The grounds are perfect. You feel like you are in your own little paradise. There are plenty of amenities at Piece of Mine, such as kayaks, life vests, snorkel gear, hammocks, swinging chair, etc. Lastly, the villa is located at a perfect spot on the island if you’re looking for some quiet time. I think I saw a total of 6 people the entire time I was at the villa. It is centrally located, and allows you to get to any part of the island with a short drive.
My husband and I went to Piece of Mine for some much needed R&R and that is exactly what we got. We will definitely be back to Piece of Mine in the future. Thank you Harriet for sharing Piece of Mine with us! Much love!
Piece of Heaven
by CarolinePiece of Mine is a piece of heaven - we're so happy that we chose to stay here! Harriet is an incredible host - checking in with us but also giving us a ton of privacy. The grounds and beach are incredible! It was really a dream of a vacation! Thank you again, Harriet!
Paradise
by SarahOh how I wish we were back at Piece of Mine!! It truly was a paradise and a welcome retreat from the daily grind. Harriet's place was wonderful with exquisite little touches all throughout her property. Clean, efficient but also luxurious; how does she do it? We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, I think we saw a total of 6 people walking the beach during our week-long stay. Plenty of seating options on the beach and in the house. Beach towels galore; not to mention the wonderful bathroom towels!! And, having a washer/dryer in the home was great for drying off towels and clothing at the end of the day. Harriet was wonderful with offering suggestions for activities and dining, however the best food was hers!! She graced us with cassava cake on our first day, kept plying us with fresh fruit and we got to have some salted beef stew native dish that was delicious and filling. She was very attentive and available, but not obtrusive; the perfect host!!
We packed a bunch of fun in a week, driving on the left was a fun (?) experience, (be prepared for a lot of roundabouts and chickens!) but allowed us to learn more about the island and culture. Highly recommend: Stingray City (of course) from Rum Point with RedSail; get directions to Starfish Point from Rum Point and go there yourself, not with a tour; Snorkeling: In Georgetown, go to Rackam's (great food!) park in their parking lot (back the car in) and enter the water from their ladder to snorkel the Cali wreck; go up to Cracked Conch/Macabuca restaurant (north of Turtle Farm) snorkel from their ladder (on Monday's they have a great rib buffet dinner, Cemetary Beach - enter water and go a little north for good coral and fish. We also did Eden Rock but we were maybe snorkeled out, great coral heads but they were 15-20 ft deep. (we don't dive but do love to snorkel)

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.
The homes along the southeast coast offer great reef-protected snorkeling and proximity to the best SCUBA operators on the island, Ocean Frontiers and Tortuga Divers.
Unique to Piece of Mine Green is its 200-feet of private beachfront. This shoreline is yours to explore and comes furnished with shared hammocks and a seaside cabana.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.
The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.
Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased over the summer. Our owners make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.
Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will contact the owner for alternative solutions, which may include a partial refund or relocation.
We try our best to work around Mother Nature.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
