Seaside Dreams is a beautiful, renovated villa with modern yet comfortable furnishings.
This lovely villa overlooks the clear waters of the Bioluminescent Bay in the idyllic Rum Point and Cayman Kai community. This location is worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach and offers enchanting vistas, secluded beaches, and numerous amenities.
The ground floor features an open-concept design that allows the living and dining areas to flow into one. The fully equipped kitchen houses stainless steel appliances and a wine fridge. The true focal point of the home is the spacious two-story screened lanai facing the turquoise sea that offers additional lounge seating and alfresco dining.
A large swimming pool with a sundeck is located on the water for guests of the complex to enjoy! For adventure seekers, Seaside Dreams offers two tandem kayaks and two bicycles complimentary with your stay.

The two bedrooms are about equal in size, and the beds are comfortable. The screened porch has comfortable furniture and a beautiful view. The owner was very responsive to questions.

The villa came with 3 tandem kayaks and two bikes with helmets which we enjoyed daily and we took advantage of the free snorkel gear which we picked up from the welcome center. We have stayed at other rental properties before that did not have any items stocked in the unit, but this villa had everything we needed from extra toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of cleaners, hand soap, laundry detergent, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen with every utensil you can imagine. There was also some basic spices there for cooking and a Brita water filter which was a huge plus as it saved us from having to buy bottled water. We ordered groceries from Hurley's prior to our arrival and the groceries were already inside our condo when we arrived (cold items already in refrigerator!) Also the internet/wifi worked great from the condo (very quick.) The restaurants at Rum Point and Kaibo were very good and convenient. We dined one night at Kaibo Upstairs and did their 6 course meal with wine and rum pairing which did not disappoint! Amazing experience and service which we highly recommend, but was expensive. They also played great music there and we learned they have their own Spotify station called Kaibo Radio. which we streamed nightly from our villa. We rented a car as well which was a bit awkward at first (we are from the USA so everything was opposite - steering wheel and having to drive on the left)

by AlanThis place was perfect, just as the pictures and description described. Super clean, not a single thing wrong with the place. Located right on Bioluminescent Bay was an added bonus, kayaking on it at night was spectacular. Quick walk across the street to Rum Point beach with a bar, never had a problem getting a chair even on the weekend, beautiful setting. Only down side was there were no food and drinks available there after 6pm, and there are not many restaurants in the area. Not a big problem, we drove to find others, and was definitely preferable for relaxing as opposed to being in the hustle and bustle of the 7 Mile Beach area. Would definitely stay here again.
The Rum Point Club Resort has a dinner restaurant/bar. Kaibo has a dinner restaurant/bar. The Rum Point restaurant restaurant/bar will reopen in June. All three are walking distance.

by SusanThis house was in a group around a small bay. The grounds were kept beautifully, raked and trimmed regularly. The house is also updated and well kept. We stayed for 6 weeks, everything we needed for cooking etc was in place…in fact, the best supplied of any rental we have done. The furniture was quite comfortable and attractive. The large screened in 2 story lanai was stunning, and we ate every meal out there on the large dining table. We pretty much lived on the lanai, comfortable with fans on hot buggy days; on windy or not so nice days we enjoyed the chaises and chairs. This group of privately owned homes is extremely well run. The manager of the house was very responsive. A hole in the screen was fixed the day we reported it. Some of the houses are rented, some are owner occupied by welcoming and friendly people. A small pool area was well kept and convenient. Because Rum Point was closed due to pandemic there were limited dining options…Kaibo Beach was nice and close. However, we did drive to a number of very good restaurants. We love to snorkel, and the Rum Point beaches were of course open and terrific with coral gardens and fish. It is a very short walk across the street. We particularly enjoyed Smith Cove and Eden Rock for snorkeling, although they are 40 minute drive. While we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of the Cayman Kai area, it entails a lot of driving if you are staying a longer time and interested in seeing more places. Supermarkets are very good, but again, a half hour or more drive. There is a small local food store. If you arrive on a weekend, stores/markets are closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly. The island itself is lush and gorgeous, beautiful houses, excellent roads. The residents and service providers were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely return!

These nine clusters of 2-story townhomes sit staggered along the water's edge with a shared community freshwater pool overlooking the island's Bioluminescent Bay.
Famous for its glowing nighttime waters, Bio Bay is a phenomenon not to be missed especially on moonless nights. Explore at your own pace or book a guided tour with our friends at Cayman Kayaks and Sweet Spot Watersports.
While Bio Bay is ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding, it is not ideal for swimming due to its soft muddy bottom. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and tropical drinks, head across the street to the new Rum Point Club.
Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years.
Sargassum RARELY is an issue at the Island Houses.
Nearby Beaches
The Rum Point Club is the area's big draw and easily one of the best beachfront destinations outside of Seven Mile Beach. In addition to a barefoot beach experience, you'll find food + drinks, excellent snorkeling, watersports rentals, and charter excursions for a true island experience.
For a more remote beach vibe, head south to Starfish Point. The sunsets there are phenomenal. However, please be mindful not to disturb the starfish or leave any litter behind.

- Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.
Villa Cleaning & Sanitation
All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
Cayman Kai is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The area is perfectly suited for those who want to escape the crowds for a destination where life is easy and not so fast.
The neighborhood has very low traffic by design. The streets are safe and ideal for strolling the neighborhood while enjoying the tropical scenery.

Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island.
For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls. Confirmed guests will receive a promo code after booking for 20% off a rental car with Budget Cayman.
Nearby Dining
There are three dining destinations within walking distance: Solis at Rum Point Club, Blue Flame at Rum Point Resort, and the Kaibo.
Located a short walk across the street, Solis is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a casual open-air beachfront setting. Confirmed guests save 10% off food + drinks with their Guest Membership card distributed at check-in in our Welcome Center.
The Rum Point Resort's newly re-opened signature restaurant Blue Flame is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations for non-resort guests are highly encouraged.
A little further south you'll find two distinct dining experiences at Kaibo: the Beach Bar & Grill for casual dining, and Upstairs for gourmet dining.
Beach Bar & Grill guests can dine on the beach, or order takeout including pizzas, burgers, and more. Reservations for Upstairs are encouraged for a night of culinary excellence. The Kaibo also includes a cafe, Kaibo Espresso, to jumpstart your day with coffee, tea, plus pastries and breakfast wraps.
