Welcome to White Cottage. This contemporary, open-concept villa offers guests an opportunity to spend their vacation amid sumptuous interiors with smart-home technology, gated privacy, and scenic Caribbean views.


An oceanfront wall of glass and a screened porch blend stunning views with protected intimate spaces for quintessential indoor-outdoor island living. With heavy landscaping and no neighboring villas on either side, White Cottage will be your private oasis after a day in the sun and water.


A 100-foot private dock with a thatched cabana provides a relaxing spot above the waves. Enjoy sunsets, happy hour, or alfresco dining above the waves.


Intrepid snorkelers can use the dock ladder for gentle water entry before exploring the nearby reefs. All guests receive free snorkel gear upon check-in at our Welcome Center. 


Inside, the home's kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric cooktop, dual ovens, a built-in refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and twin wine/beverage fridges. Prepare a home-style dinner or hire a private chef for a night of in-villa fine dining. 


A large formal indoor dining table seats 8 guests. The outdoor dining table on the screened porch seats 8 guests for meals with oceanfront views. 


White Cottage's 5 bedrooms are spread across the home's upper and lower levels.

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay!

BEAUTIFUL! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful view to wake up to every morning. Loved sitting out on the dock and swimming in the pool! It was great for my grandma and even my teenage daughter. Everyone had a great time . There was plenty of room for all 7 women! Loved the location close to the parrot sanctuary and our favorite restaurant TUKKA!

Little slice of paradise!

We loved our stay at White Cottage. The house was arranged perfectly for our two families of 4. Guest services, especially Shamar, was responsive and addressed questions immediately. We used the fitness center at the guest services building every day and found the whole team was friendly and welcoming. The dock was fantastic - snorkeling and observing various fish and stingrays, coffee at sunrise and playing cards at sunset. The pool was attended to throughout the week to keep it clean. Everything was perfect! We are hoping for a repeat trip back to White Cottage in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us.

Beautiful house off the beaten path

Beautiful house! The location was more remote which meant costly taxis, but it was nice and quiet! Some wi-fi issues and almost all the doors were sliding “barn style” doors which wasn’t great for privacy (especially for the bathroom). The little pier was awesome and we loved the pool. The kitchen was well stocked and great to cook in.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at White cottage. Everything worked out beautifully. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of six adults.(2 couples, 2 singles). The inside and outside of the house blend together to afford many useful outdoor spaces. In particular, we loved the large screened in back of the house in the evening, as there were some bugs, and the gazebo at the end of the dock with its hammocks during the day, which always had a beautiful breeze, we snorkeled out to the break several times, saw beautiful fish, sting rays, and several octopuses but honestly spent most of the days using the pool. We are all swimmers and really appreciated having a dedicated lap pool to get our exercise, it was a great week. The pool is wonderful. Also the management staff was very helpful.

Retreat in Paradise!

We enjoyed our stay at White Cottage. All of us agreed the house was an amazing, peaceful retreat in paradise. The view from the private beach and dock is simply beautiful. The house had plenty of space for our family of 11 both inside and out. There are lots of opportunities for activities on and near the property for all ages. Our young adult children loved the ocean access, corn hole, kayaks, paddle board and pool. Older adults loved the well stocked kitchen (as we cooked many meals) and ample towels in the bathrooms. Any questions or small issues were promptly taken care of by Shamar and Louise of Silver Thatch/Grand Cayman Villas. They provided 5 star service! Only suggestion is to ask what is provided for you as property had many grocery items/cleaning supplies that we didn\'t need to purchase. Hope to be back some day!

Nice property nice layout good location. Had an issue with the front gate(would not open) did impacted some of our plans but property manager Louise did a great job to resolve it. We had been warn about the seaweed and it was in the water for a couple of days (can’t do anything about Mother Nature) but when it came on shore it would have been nice to have it raked up like surrounding property’s. Quiet and Secluded!

If you're looking for private and secluded this is the spot! The villa was fantastic, easy to get to, and VERY private. It's away from the congestion of Georgetown and convenient to get to East End and Rum Point. The villa was clean, had all the amenities we could ask for! Perfect for a family vacation.

Amazing!

Amazing house! We had a blast enjoying the warmth and the sun! We saw a nice small nurse shark and thousands of fish right off the dock after 9pm. Stingrays, barracuda and a lionfish too.

Best getaway oasis!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. The outside space which includes a large porch, lovely pool, and huge beachfront area were fabulous. The cabana with hammock on the water was an added bonus. Everyone had more than enough space to relax and enjoy the spectacular weather. The interior of the house was also lovely, roomy and well-stocked. Our property management contact (Louise) was fabulous to work with, she helped us pre-order groceries which were delivered and put away before our arrival. She also met us there and answered all of our questions. We have rented a fair number of properties throughout the Caribbean and this one is definitely one of our favorites. It is a true oasis! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous in every way!

This house is stunning inside and out! The lanai, deck, pool, and beach front made for a wonderful oasis during our stay. I can't say enough good things about it! The inside accommodations were fabulous also, well stocked throughout. We've rented a fair number of properties in the Caribbeans, this one is by far our favorite. In addition, the property management personnel (Louise) was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Fantastic Stay and Highly Recommended

I wanted to reach out to you personally and thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We were two families -each with 3 young children- 6 kids 6 and under in total. We travel together often, but this was the first time we as adults got to enjoy the vacation. We were all thrilled with the amenities and privacy. I also wanted to commend Louise for going above and beyond for us. Never have we had such kind and competent attention from a property manager. Our every need was addressed and items that could not be resolved immediately were handled very professionally and didn\'t significantly detract from our stay. The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.

The villas in the Cottage District on the southeast coast offer great reef-protected snorkeling plus proximity to the best dive operators on Cayman--Ocean Frontiers and Tortuga Divers. Being on the south coast the water tends to be very calm on the beaches.

The water behind White Cottage is usually calm and has a sandy water entry for the first 3-8 feet. This is a reef-protected marine environment and the snorkeling can be wonderful, even in shallow waters.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally.

Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency over the summer months. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum are required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum are required over Christmas and New Year's week.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire about your travel dates before booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 or older to book and occupy the property during the entire stay.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

Nearby Points of Interest

Getting Around

A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. 

For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
